December’s Pose of the month is Sasangasana or Rabbit Pose. Named for the shape of a rabbits tail and powerful legs, this pose is perfect for the Holiday hectic feeling we can sometimes experience around this time of year.
Rabbit Pose is a great lengthener for the muscles of the entirety of the spine as well as the shoulders and upper back. It stimulates the thyroid and lymph nodes, boosting immunity as well as bringing a fresh supply of blood to the brain, creating a calm and clear head to take on the season.
