As a born and raised New Orleanian, Olivia naturally fell in love with all things related to movement and community at a very young age. Before finding yoga, she pursued her passion in the performing arts by attending the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts High School, and later on by graduating from The Boston Conservatory with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.

She was first introduced to yoga as a way to help alleviate pain and to heal the accumulated injuries that came along with years of rigorous dance training. However yoga quickly proved itself to be not only healing for the physical body, but also a powerfully transformative and liberating experience for the thinking and feeling body. This holistic nature of yoga immediately captured and deeply engaged Olivia, inspiring her to complete a teacher training program with the Down Under School of Yoga in Boston, Massachusetts. She is immensely honored and humbled to have received her 200 hr RYT certification from Natasha Rizopoulos, Kate Heffernan, and Peter Crowley. And even more honored to be bringing her practice and mat back to her hometown of NOLA.

Olivia’s classes are generally Iyengar-inspired Vinyasa Flows. They focus primarily on alignment and breath in the hopes of cultivating a rigorous yet sustainable asana practice for all mind and body types! She is tremendously grateful to have this opportunity to pass on as many healing vibes as possible, to move as mindfully as possible, and to learn as much as possible alongside this wonderful community here at Reyn. Feel free to talk to Olivia about anything and everything from shoulder anatomy to food justice - she is here to listen, help, and engage with y’all in whatever way!
